Q&A

QAMSS ScienceMeetsArts, to question and explore material and immaterial universes via dialogue between the arts and sciences, and initiate a sustainable scientist-artist joint activities programme on how art takes on new technologies.

Cambridge spans an impressive interdisciplinary research portfolio across many areas: from quantum technology for fundamental physics and quantum information, to synthetic matter with novel functionalities, the study and mitigation of existential risks, trustworthy design and governance of next generation technology that promote informed, critical, and engaging voices in light of technology’s increasing pervasiveness in society, through to the Arts Science programme, conceived to question and explore material and immaterial universes via dialogue between the arts and sciences.

QAMSS will explore the impact of these technologies on art, from new techniques to redefinitions
